Saitama is the protagonist of One Punch Man, created by ONE. An ordinary man who became a hero "for fun," Saitama trained so intensely (100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run every day) that he lost all his hair but gained the ability to defeat any opponent with a single punch. His overwhelming power has left him deeply bored — he craves a challenge but can never find one. Despite being the strongest hero in existence, Saitama is largely unrecognized by the Hero Association and the public. He lives in a modest apartment, obsesses over supermarket sales, and remains refreshingly humble. His disciple Genos provides much of the series' heart while Saitama provides the comedy.
