> Forward Quo, formerly OpenPhone, calls to InsertChat’s AI receptionist: Forward all calls, a fallback after Ring users, or an after-hours path in the call flow.

Quo, formerly OpenPhone, forwards calls from its call flow builder. Choose Forward all calls to send every call to your InsertChat routing number, add a Forward call step after Ring users for missed calls, or put it on the after-hours path of a Business hours step.

## Quo (formerly OpenPhone)

Available for numbers in the United States. In dial codes, XXXXXXXXXX stands for the 10 digits of your private routing number.

### Forward all calls

1. In Quo, open Settings, then Phone numbers, select the number, and click Edit call flow.
2. Open the Default call flow dropdown, select Forward all calls, enter your private routing number, and click Create new call flow.
3. Click Enable this call flow and confirm the Live indicator appears.

### Forward unanswered or busy calls

1. Open the number’s call flow in the Quo call flow builder.
2. After the Ring users step, add a Forward call step to your private routing number as the fallback.
3. Publish the call flow.

### Forward calls after hours

1. Open the number’s call flow in the Quo call flow builder.
2. Add a Business hours step after Incoming call and keep Ring users on the during-hours path.
3. On the after-hours path, add a Forward call step to your private routing number.
4. Publish the call flow.

### Turn forwarding off

- Select Default call flow from the call flow dropdown and click Enable this call flow.
- Remove any Forward call step that targets your private routing number, then publish the call flow.

## Finish the setup in InsertChat

1. **Enter your business number.** In your assistant’s phone settings, choose Forward my existing number, enter it, and check compatibility. Confirm the provider you pay for phone service.
2. **Forward to your routing number.** Choose when calls forward, then follow your provider’s steps to send them to the private routing number InsertChat creates. Never publish that number.
3. **Verify with a test call.** InsertChat places a verification call. For unanswered-or-busy forwarding, let it ring without answering so your provider’s rule can forward it.

## Does forwarding use more Quo minutes?

Quo puts no limit on forwarded calls, but each forwarded call uses two call legs and counts double toward your Quo usage. Check your Quo plan before you forward every call.

## Will the AI receptionist see the caller’s number?

Yes. Quo says forwarded calls keep the original caller’s number as caller ID, so the conversation in InsertChat shows the customer’s number instead of your Quo number.

## Can Quo forward missed calls before voicemail?

Yes. Put a Forward call step after Ring users as the fallback. Quo notes the Forward call step is the last step before voicemail and forwards can’t be chained, so keep the routing number as the only forward on that path.

## Does forwarding my number cost extra?

The first active line is included with your InsertChat plan; additional lines are $10 per month plus voice minutes. Your phone provider may also count forwarded calls against your plan, so check your plan with them.

## What if my provider is not listed?

Choose Another provider during setup. Ask your provider to forward all calls, or unanswered and busy calls, to your private routing number, keep caller ID passthrough on when offered, and make carrier voicemail ring longer than the forwarding timeout.
